“I loathe my life; I will give free utterance to my complaint; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul." ~ Job 10:1
I'm going to be as real as I can be! If I was Job's wife I would have not said what she said to him HOWEVER I would say something along this line "Oh would you just SHUT UP and jump off a bridge already!" I'm just saying.....
Yes, I'm repenting as I typed it! Yet, I cannot deny the truth of the matter! :) Listen, there is so much negativity you can be around before it affects you. The bible puts it like this about the wife, but the husband's do not stay far behind:
"Better to live out in the desert than with a nagging, complaining wife". ~ Proverbs 21:19
The desert sure sounds pretty good when you live with a spouse that constantly complains about EVERYTHING!! They are not happy regardless what is done or said. They always find something to complain about. Whether it's bills, kids, dogs or the weather - it just seems that they have a knack for sucking the life out of you. Not only that but the atmosphere is so tense you can cut with a knife. What follows are the senseless arguments that either of you can't figure out what about.
Everyone at some point complains but when your family begins to walk on egg shells there is a problem. A very big problem. It has the potential to bring distance between spouses because it gets played out and they just tired of hearing it!
If the complaint is valid, than discuss it not sit and whine. That won't resolve the issue. It will only escalate things! The word of God says:
"Do everything without complaining or arguing", ~ Philippians 2:14
I hope this has helped somebody! You could either say "OUCH" or "AMEN"........
Blessings to you and your family!
