Welcome! Please click on link for more about this blog!
Our purpose is to bring couples closer in a deeper intimacy with one another and with God through the Word, teaching, and sharing real life experiences that will build and strengthen the marriage to be a three cord strand; not easily broken!
We must continue tend to the nurturing of our marriages and children. Our households must be in order otherwise we leave an open door for destruction. The enemy constantly sets out to destroy our families by means of divorce. Many Christian couples are quickly falling out of love and contemplating separation. Kindness, compassion, communication, understanding, patience, passion, intimacy, joy and love have been absent in their relationships.
Marriage is a covenant made by you, your spouse AND God. We bring honor to the Lord through our relationship with one another. We must cultivate a foundation of love and forgiveness in our homes. For love covers a multitude of sins (1 Peter 4:8).
"Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him".~ Colossians 3:12-17
